Concerns & Complaints Policy

Liz Sheard Education aims to be fair, open and honest when dealing with any concern. All concerns will be given careful consideration and we will deal with them as swiftly as possible. We aim to solve any concern through dialogue and, in all cases, we put the interests of the student above all other issues. We provide sufficient opportunity for any concern to be fully discussed, and then resolved.

In order for complaints to be resolved as quickly and fairly as possible we request that complainants do not discuss complaints publicly via social media such as Facebook and Twitter. Complaints will be dealt with confidentially for those involved, and we expect complainants to observe confidentially also. We aim to respond to any complaint raised within five working days.

We would ask you to put your complaint in writing, by post or email to the address above, and to explain what actions you think might resolve the situation. Our expected way of working would be to invite you to discuss the issue, and we will try to resolve it together. The aim is to take action promptly at the lowest appropriate level in order to achieve a mutually acceptable solution.

Following this discussion, we would write to you summarising the outcome, and the further steps that will be taken. You may wish for a further meeting at a later date to discuss progress.

After this, if you feel that your concern has not been dealt with to your satisfaction you may contact DSA/QAG.

This policy is reviewed at least annually by ourselves. We will monitor the application and outcomes of this policy to ensure it is working effectively.
